This morning I was asked to facilitate a session in a teacher workshop on motivation. Listening to the opening talk about what motivates us, I immediately started thinking about my photography. What really motivates me?

Every year on the 365project site, one of the members hosts Flash of Red February. In essence it is a month of black and white with one photo on the 14th February that has a ‘flash of red’ in it. It goes without saying that I love it!

I love quirky decor and wall displays. You know - decor that is different or unusual but in a good way. For me, quirky decor is about the creative juxtaposition of items, re-using sold stuff in original ways, striking colour combinations and so on. What's more, they are an Everyday Delight!
